What is Alcoholics Anonymous:
Alcoholics Anonymous is a program that contributes to the community a program free of charge to all alcoholics who wish to be sober and need motivation.
How does A.A. function?
Alcoholics Anonymous uses the 12 steps which include :
1. We admit we are powerless against alcohol and that our lives have become unmanageable
2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity
3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood him.
4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves
5. Admitted to others, God the exact nature of our wrongs.
6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of our character.
Where can I attend A.A. meetings in my community?
Our local meetings are scheduled Monday through Saturday from 7 pm - 11 pm at our Share Group located at 1003 E. Buisiness 83rd street Mcallen, Tx
